    Description

    This is a nice item advertising HAVOLINE MOTOR OIL from the TEXACO OIL COMPANY. It is a CLOTH TAPE RULER usually used in measuring for sewing purposes - but could be used for measuring just about anything. It is 60" long and comes folded as shown in my photo - metal tips are on each end. It has the Texaco Logo at both ends of the tape and on both sides (4 total). On both sides in the middle for 18" it says: CUSTOM - MADE HAVOLINE The Best Motor Oil Money Can Buy. In smaller print in two places it says: Printed in U.S.A. 12/49.
