Here is your chance to own this 1960s era bumper strip (13 7/8” x 5 1/4”) promoting Alberta’s Jasper Sky Tram, in Canada’s Jasper National Park. Unlike bumperstickers, this bumper strip does not have an adhesive back. Typically, in the 1960s, visitors to a venue would park their car and return to find one of these promotional strips attached, usually with string or rubber bands, to their auto bumper.
In 1960, Albertan adventurer William McGregor climbed to the summit of Whistlers Mountain, Jasper. Inspired by the incredible views, McGregor dreamed of sharing his experience with the rest of the world.
Construction of the SkyTram began in 1963, with many key components being imported from Germany. The project was finished in time for the grand opening in the summer of 1964.
Since opening, over 6 million visitors have ridden the Jasper SkyTram and experienced the same breathtaking Rocky Mountain views that first inspired McGregor over half a century ago.

, there is some wear, but nothing that distracts. A wonderful addition to any collection of early ski ephemera and literature in North America. Will also ship internationally, though will have determine the cost of shipping depending on where it is being shipped.
