    Description

Handsome fold-out 1973 Texaco road map of Albuquerque and Santa Fe, printed more than 47 years ago.
This map opens to 18" x 27" and has great detail on old street and highway alignments, with cartography by H.M. Gousha.
The map of Albuquerque, including Westgate Heights and Kirtland Air Force Base, is on one side.
Santa Fe, along with South Valley, North Valley, and Paradise Hills, is on the other.
The map was distributed by Texaco in 1973 and is dated in the legend. The code number in the lower margin is 7-UU, and the code on the back cover is 731.
The front cover has colorful hippie artwork in the style of Peter Max, with the Texaco slogan "More and more people trust their car to the man who wears the Texaco star."
