Here are 2 very nice fossil specimens containing multiple fossil seashells, species Pecten, from Southern California. Probably Miocene. There are pectens on both the front and back.
From an old collection.
The pieces measure 4.5" and 3.5".  Together they weigh 8.85 oz.
A small piece might come off in shipping, but not enough to affect the beauty of the item. We wrap our items very securely. If this does not work for you, please do not order.
These used to be much easier to find twenty years ago, but not so much nowadays.  They have been coated with a clear protectant.
