All overlay doors require a trim panel of at least 3/4” thick. The solid wood and glass wood panels should not weigh more than 10 lbs. 1. With the unit secured in position, open the door and make sure panel pre-drilled holes align with door frame holes. 2. Loosely attach four corners of overlay panel to the door using #10 x 1” wood screws, installed through the door frame from the rear. 3. Check for overall wood overlay panel fit, position, and function. Make minor adjustments as necessary. When panel is properly aligned, tighten mounting screws securely. Install the rest of the mounting screws and tighten securely
FREIGHT ITEMS
Most of the items are freight items (meaning they are large items that need to be delivered on a pallet, on a truck load). When you order an item that is shipping via freight, we will upload appropriate tracking number along with carrier name. If you have specified a residential delivery, all freight carriers will call and schedule a delivery appointment. When receiving your freight order, inspecting the pallet is important to ensure there is no damage. Please contact us for detailed instructions on accepting freight orders.
DAMAGES IN SHIPMENT:
Freight damage is rare, but occasionally does happen. Please inspect upon delivery. If the delivery appears to be damaged call our office number before the driver leaves in case we need to refuse the shipment. Please note any damage on the driver’s BOL.
IMPORTANT:
Please open and inspect the shipment and report any concealed damage or missing items within 24 hours so we can get it taken care of for you asap.
PLEASE NOTE: you will have 48 hours to report concealed damage. After that you will be responsible for products as we will no longer be able to file a freight claim with the carrier. After this time period, freight claims can no longer be honored.
Again Freight damage is rare, but if proper steps are taken, it makes for very easy work on getting you replacements. Your business matters to us and we want to be sure you receive the best service possible.
