Rare LH Saxon American Longbow VGC / Recurve / Archery

Here I have a rare and outstanding Saxon American longbow that makes for a great hunting or target bow. This bow has only been shot a few times and is in excellent condition some would even say pristine.
Bow is made from Red Elm laminations over top a Maple core and a riser handle made from Chechem. Saxon bows were known for their great quality and durability but are no longer produced as the owner and maker ( Randy Denhal ) passed away awhile back thus also making it a great addition for any serious collector of vintage archery tackle.
This particular bow is 64 in. (ammo) in length and is 60 lbs.at a 28 in. draw and also features a very durable fully wrapped elk hide leather grip strike plate and arrow rest that will last for many, many years. Also the bow has the thicker reinforced limb tips making it safe to use either with fast flight or dacon bow strings if one wishes but that would be up to you.
I hate parting with this beautiful bow but the weight is a little much for me and so I've decided to move on to something a little lighter. Oh well my loss is your gain. Good luck bidding and thanks for looking.
